Welcome

Counseling services for the weary, grief-stricken, stressed and stuck.

Making sense of our lives can be exhausting, confusing, and at times terrifying. We may feel we understand the world around us and are confident in the direction our lives are heading, only to have the metaphorical rug pulled out from under us. Life throws a lot at us and it can feel like we must carry on without missing a beat.

Struggling to make sense of depression, the loss of a loved one or a relationship, job dissatisfaction, spiritual crises, can be extremely isolating.

My intention is to help you feel less alone as you navigate these times and to help you know and love yourself better. I work with people who are trying to make sense of their lives, what it means to be human, to suffer, to heal and grow.

Philosophy & Approach

You are not broken and you do not need someone to tell you what to do, but instead, a safe and accepting space where you can non-defensively explore your inner world and beliefs while moving toward self-acceptance. I believe you have the ability to grow, heal and make meaning in your life.

My approach to counseling is collaborative with a focus on building a trusting and genuine relationship with clients. I integrate specific therapeutic interventions and strategies to best serve each client and presenting concern.

During our sessions, we will work together to discover the patterns that you lead to feeling stuck, isolated, and stressed. We will identify the beliefs about yourself that do not serve you while drawing from your strengths and desires that allow you to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. We will also spend time discovering the values that are important to you and help guide your life. I believe there is a path to healing for everyone, we will work together to find yours.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
